TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I’m currently working in an English language school in Hangzhou, China. I mostly teach children between the ages of six and twelve, but occasionally I also take some adult classes. The school promoted me to foreign teacher supervisor about 2 years ago. This role involves interviewing potential new teachers, appointing suitable candidates, and then training them on arrival. In addition to teaching my own classes I also observe other teachers’ classes and hold regular meetings with them. The main objective is increasing the quality of our lessons.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS

I have a strong passion for travelling, I lived and worked in Italy for three years, I have also enjoyed visits to Singapore, Kuala Lumpa and Langkawi. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.  I have a keen interest in sport; I play football, tennis, badminton, and enjoy the occasional skiing trip.  I also enjoy reading and creative writing.
