Professional Summary

I am a fully qualified, dynamic teacher with proven capabilities in various subjects. I specialise in teaching History and English to middle school and high school learners. I am equally experienced teaching primary school learners, pre-schoolers and university students. Although I have only recently completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), I have almost ten years of relevant teaching experience. I completed both my practical modules, as required for my PGCE, with distinctions (89% for English and 100% for History). I provide a well-rounded education for my students, which is not only limited to classroom instruction, since I also nurture their emotional and social development. I motivate my learners, using a variety of modern methods, such as cooperative learning and I encourage originality and creativity. I am dedicated to my students, parents, my school and community. I am skilled in curriculum design, creating learning materials and I have written an ESL textbook for pre-schoolers for an English course.
